Joomleague v2 doesn't install on Joomla 2.5.9

I have a fresh Joomla 2.5.9 installation
I tried to install Joomleague 2.x on it. Tried with the latest file (2.0.75.c6e1cf7-a)
I have tried on two occasions once with trying to install from a ZIP file, the other uploading it to the TMP directory.

When installation is attempted, the browser appears to be doing something, but then the screen refreshes and appears to have done nothing, there is no comments on the screen.
Joomleague doesn't appear in the components menu
Joomleague doesn't appear in the list of installed components when you navigate to Extention Manager > Manage

If you change the URL to /administrator/index.php?option=com_joomleague then the following appears, the only sign that installation was attempted;

I have looked at the database and no tables have been created in there either

BTW, I have tried to register on your bug tracker but it won't send me a validation email 

Anyway, forgot to add I get these errors too;

Further to the initital screen shot, I now get this error message when navigating to the com_joomleague URL

are you really sure that you have uploaded all files of the component?

what are your php settings? do you fulfill the joomla requirements? could you add a phpinfo() (joomla->systeminfo) output here?

Yes all the files have been uploaded, as I said in my initial post I have tried by uploading all the files to the TMP folder and also using the upload and install feature from within joomla

Where do I get the phpinfo from? If it is the version you want to know about, then I'm using 5.3.23

Don't know what happened, but trying for the third time - lol and it seems to have worked. Although I haven't tried playing around with it yet.

But on the Joomleague page, there is no version number (I presume it shoud say so), see pic below

No Version indicates that the install file wasn´t executed correclty. Try to run the db update file under the joomleague admin section.

Do you mean the "jl_update_db_tables.php" file?

If so, ran that, but still the version number isn't updated

I've checked the database and joomleague_version has an entry in it, although the version field is blank - if that has anything to do with it?

your installation seems to be somewhat mangled and i don´t how why it is not working. could you try that it again on "localhost" with xampp?

I tried on localhost with wampserver and not xampp and it doesn't work either

I've got no error because nothing happens ! When I click on the upload button, the page seems to execute itself but nothing happens at the end.
