_JL_DATE_MOD instead of a date

Postby eMeR » Mon Apr 07, 2008 7:25 pm

Like in subject - I get _JL_DATE_MOD written instead of a date in result module. You can see it here:
http://www.pilkarskidziennik.pl/content ... ry/62/105/ (right hand column).

Is something missing in language file ? (I use original file, so I have english as default)

Do you have any clues for that ?

Thanks in advance

try to add

Code: Select all

DEFINE( '_JL_DATE_MOD', "%d-%m-%Y" );

in the langage file.

worked for me!  :biggrin:

For those who are also looking for this.  it's the YOURSITE/components/com_joomleague/language/english.php file (or whatever your language file is called)

Hmm in 0.92 I got a swedish.php and get the english version of dates such as monday, thuesday etc.

How do I edit this to get the weekdays in swedish, got the global settins to swedish and se_SV. Here's the site.

Strange the variable JL_DATE_MOD does not exist but still the module fetches the variable from somewhere? When adding the varible to my swedish languagefile the date is still shown in english?

Did solve it by editing the joomleague.php in the /components/com_joomleague folder.

Add:

Code: Select all

/* Set locale to Swedish */
setlocale(LC_ALL, 'sv_SE');

And all modules and regulares will use the languagecode you choose. Isn't there a betterway to hardcode this because it will have to be done on every upgrade?

Oh just forget my previous posts...
Was a typo on my part in the global setting (se_SV instead of sv_SE) that made it all go wrong.
