how to integrate Navigation menu into joomla's standard horizontal menu.

Hi there,
I am using GAVick's Sport template and I have installed JL but I want to integrate the JL menu with Joomla mainmenu so that the menus appear horizontally up top. Please help.

you should create menu items manually... this is more of a usefull tool to help you debug, but it doesn't look particularly good.

Thank you for help.
I have actually created the menu link for the component in joomla and then added the Item ID to the JL module's Custom ID field. But the only thing that appears in the menu is the link I created not the JL menu. I don't have actual data in the system yet except the following:
- Project, league,team, clubs, season.

Do I need the actual data to see the menu display similar to the JL demo site? Please give a hint. I actually read all the documentation but still not clear how to structure the menu better the way i wanted.
