Club Plan Setting problem

Postby Steve » Sat Oct 01, 2016 3:46 pm

Hello,
the settings in clubplan.xml have no effect in the frontend.
Does somebody has the same problem or maybe someone can test it?

Thanks
Stefano

p.s.
the others frontend templates work fine!

Steve you raised a good question, where did you modify clubplan setting?
If it's clubplan there should be a frontend template section in admin for it as well, but I didn't find one.
If it's there a way to set a clubplan for each plan, please tell me where it is...
I also tried setting clubplan's team within menu item settings, in this case settings worked for me...but in this case it's no more a clubplan, it's a teamplan!

Hi Teddy,
in the backend in "Frontend Settings for Project" there is the template file CLUBPLAN, but for me, if i change settings, there is no effect in the frontend.
If i do in TEAMPLAN... yes.
I haven't the same problem of you.

When you create a menu item with "CLUBPLAN" you can choose also the project, but if you don't... all the matches from the Club (so national championship and maybe european cup) all the matches will be shown on the page. For me it works. (but without possibility to change setting in the template... i don't know why!)

Clubplan template changes are working.
Have a look where you did the changes and how the template assigned to your project "Master Template"(This Projekt inherits its settings from the master Projekt [KrsLi LG]
If you want to overrides specific settings, click below to import the current setting from master Projekt.)
or "Independent Template"(this is the Master).

ok. I've checked everything and everything should work... but it doens't

I have two projects and a Club plays in both projects.
If i create a Menu item with CLUBPLAN and i change setting for frontend template i have no changes...
BUT if i click in the icon under the Team Name and i choose "club plan"... that page has the changes i did in the CLUBPLAN template in the backend
The problem is that the link only show games from a project and not for all the projects where the Club plays.

Menu Item link for "clubplan":
/index.php?option=com_joomleague&view=clubplan&cid=1

Link if i click under the Team name and i choose "clubplan" (the icon with folder and clock):
/index.php?option=com_joomleague&view=clubplan&p=1:PORJECT-NAME&cid=1:CLUB-NAME

I hope it's clear

Frontend Settings are stored per project. If you have a global link is it not possible to retrieve a project based frontend setting. You would have to edit the master clubplan.xml with your needed default settings.

Settings in clubplan.xml have effect in the frontend.

It shows matches from all projects (don't select a project in the menu) but in my case for 1 project it doesn't show the home matches. (In teamplan they are present)

Were can i find the faillure?

@And_One
Just doing the same as i did the last 5 years.
Two projects and for 1 project the home matches are not shown.

I don't know how to disable home or away match in a project

Tested it further.
It does show the home matches.
Because i'm testing i only had a few matchdays.

I now have 6 matchdays, but the clubplan only shows 3. (Matchday's 1,2, and 4)

Where are the others??

I have 3 projects and all have the setting ALL matches.

4 matchdates

matchdate 1: the match of project 1 is missing
matchdate 2: all 3 matches are shown
matchdate 3: the matches of project 1 and 3 are missing
matchdate 4: the match of project 2 is missing

@benio08
The link to the clubplan is called "Schema". It's a Dutch website.

@steve
If i set only away matches, i have to choose 1 project. Then it shows for that particular project the away matches, but not all. It shows 2 while there are more.

If i don't select a project, because i want all projects to be shown, the frontend settings are ignored and all matches are shown, home and away. But again, there are matches missing.

In the topmenu you see 3 teams. (Toeere1, Toeere 3 and The Avengers)
When you click on a team you can see on the left the teamplan. (Programma)
Compare that with the clubplan.

that's my 3d problem! frontend setting are ignored.

very strange problem.
maybe date problem?
maybe match number problem?
try to order by DESC

clear cache
overwrite the file in /com_joomleague/views/clubplan/tmpl
with latest version

SOLVED

I checked every detail from the matches i was missing and finally noticed that some teams were not assigned to a club.
And than offcourse, Joomleague cannot find a clubmatch.

Sorry, my mistake.
