I, beeing market oriented in my main activity, think that commraden has all the right in the world to set his price, and to take the step forward to setting up a software house or HELPWARE house for sports managemet, and probably become a fulltime work for him and that deserves to make his living. Besides there will always be another bunch of guys keeping it free... You choose.
There are PLENTY of Organizations that could benefit of outsourcing sofware management, and 2.0 integration to their site, and mobile site's development. Ther's a lot of value to add in these fields. Ofcourse "amateurs" or "small fishes" (like myself!) would stick arround with the "other bunch of guys..."
Anyway I didn't choose JL for its price, but for the promise of online sport management and Its very good name. I had bee using LEAGUE PAD (MS access based, offline sports management solution, that was ok, bur offline!)
I'm still learning my way around, but can say am pretty satisfied with JL, and the help the community delivers, dont you?
