Well what can I say about the status

All views are working, IMHO its very stable, but there is still a lot of work todo

Frontend
-Its now time to find and fix bugs

My site has been using 0.93b for about a year now, however we don't use it for everything because it simply doesn't work or doesn't support many things that we want. We use it for our online soccer league, you can see it at http://www.sourcesoccerleague.com

I am not a developer but our site uses it quite a bit and could test for bugs if we could use joomleague 1.5

We are all have a personal life and we do this with love in our spare free time...
But I think it doesn't take long for an First Beta release

also habe ich mit meinem schlechten englisch richtig verstanden? Es dauert noch lange bis zur 1.5er Version
Das die Nennung eines Zeitpunktes nicht möglich ist, ist mir klar und natürlich auch verständlich.
Toll wäre es aber wenn man wenigstens einen Zeitraum eingrenzen könnte. Also eine Aussage z.B. ob versucht wird die Komponente bis zu Beginn der neuen Saison fertig zu bekommen. Oder ob das von vorn herein absolut unrealistisch ist.

Ein längst fälliges Update unseres immerhin 1 GB großen Projektes auf Joomla 1.5, ist leider komplett abhängig von Joomleague und die Vorbereitung müssten jetzt schon Beginnen. Ähnlich wird es sicher viele anderen gehen.
Wir bekommen als Verein hier in Thüringen sehr viele Anfragen nach dem Programm. Bisher hatte jemand aus Gera mit einer eigenen, kommerziellen Ligaverwaltung fett abgeräumt. Sogar bis in den Verband. Mittleweile springen viele unzufrieden ab. Großes Potiential also auch in unserer Region für Joomleague. Ich wünsche es der Komponente und den Entwicklern.

Im großen und ganzen hast du es richtig verstanden. Mit 1GB meinst du die Homepage an sich und nicht joomleague oder?

Eine stable version also keine BETA Version wird es noch länger nicht geben vermute ich.

Eine lauffähige mit eventuellen Bugs versehene Betaversion oder sowas ähnliches wird es meiner Meinung nach schon relativ bald geben. Die Entwickler sind wirklich fleißig am Arbeiten 

Die Angaben sind natürlich ohne Gewähr und nur ein Vermutung weil es können immer wieder unerwartete probleme auftreten die alles verzögern.

Das meiste werden wir über ein Update nicht rüber bekommen zur 1.5er weil es viele Komponenten so nicht mehr gibt. Also Handarbeit und da hat sich sehr viel angestaut.

Nun gäbe es ja die Möglichkeit Joomleage im Legacy-Modus laufen zu lassen. Hat jemand Erfahrungen wie sehr langsam das ganze läuft und ob es einigermaßen stabil läuft? Es geht da auch hauptsächlich um das Tippspiel.

also bei unserer Seite gibt es überhaupt keine Problem, auch nicht mit dem Tippspiel
Die Umstellung war kein Problem.

dann wirst du wohl im legacy modus bleiben müssen weil die ganze tippspiel programmierung noch sehr am Anfang (oder davor) ist.

Aber zumindest werden die vorhandenen JoomLeague Daten aus der alten Version komplett in die neue konvertiert. Das ist doch auch schon was wert oder???

Hab ich zwar noch nicht gemacht, werd mal sehen wie ich das anstelle. Aber ich glaube ich bin falsch hier da ich deutsch schreibe.

thats a joomla thing, just create menu-items how its normally done in joomla 1.5

I'm not sure if you already knew about this:

I downloaded JoomLeague 1.5 a few days ago, installed it and started a project. Today I saw that there was a new build so I uninstalled the old one and installed the latest one. All the results I put in were still there but the results table was was not showing up. I went back to the older build and now it's working.
