Ical settings

Postby whoopicg » Thu Sep 29, 2011 10:29 pm

Hi there.
I was wondering, is there a way to change the content of Ical exported files? I would prefer to have team shortnames, for example, and the same with the projects names.
It's because when I open the file in Ical, I can't see all the information at once, and when I use an app to add the schedule to facebook, the long sentence is an even bigger problem.

Thanks in advance!

Hello all & everyone,

I want to add something else about ical export,
When exporting and then importing with google calendars (My site is in arabic), i can't get correct caracters,
Iwonder if it is not a problem due to UTF8.

The site is on a local server
Joomleague: 1.5.2
Jommla: 1.15.23 and google calendars

Regarding my question, I'll leave here my workaround.

I've opened the .ics file in Text Editor and with Find and Replace, quickly changed things to fit my needs.
