I do this to translate:
I go to every different view (etc roster, player, teamplan) in the folder /components/com_joomleague/views. In each view I go to the folder named "tmpl" and edit the necassary .php-files. Whenever I see a text string on the form "JText::_( 'JL_MATCHDAYDATE' )" (JL_MATCHDAYDATE is just an example) in the .php-files, I change the "JL_MATCHDAYDATE" to the word of my language.

I tried to edit the .ini language files, but it didn't seem to make any changes, so I did it in the way explained above.

haha, I know that wasnt a very time effective solution:p but when I edited the .ini files, I didn't see any changes.. Is "/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_joomleague.ini" the right file to edit if you have English language? And is it enough just to edit it in a simple text editor?

Tried Translations Manager, and it worked :)

I think I found out why I didn't see any changes when I edited the .ini-files manually in a text editor. In the Translations Manager, the norwegian language file for joomleague where not published. When I published, all the translations I did manually in the text editor suddenly became visible. Don't know what I should have done without Translations Manager?
